I have been avidly home haunting since 1999, steadily growing the haunt as my own skills grow.
I have been very interested in FX make up since High School and still dabble in that as often as possible.
I also love to read, watch movies and spend time with "my girls".
Follow the link to Horrorfind. On that site I am known as Sarge, aka Sgt.Zombie. It's a damn good place to search for anything horror, halloween and supernaturally related.
MOVIES
I like so many it's really not even worth it to try and post them all. dark, scary, action, sci-fi, history, military, fantasy, on and on and on.
Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.
The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.
The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.
Living in MN means that when you plan a yard haunt you always have to be ready in case it snows!
I remember as a kid out trick or treating coming across those houses that were really scary. The ones with people dressed up stalking their yards and scary music playing in the back ground. Now that's MY house!
My theme is a cemetery. I have columns and a fence running across the front of the yard. Raven Rest reads on a sign over head. I have 8-10 tombstones inside with clever sayings on them. I plan to adjust the stones to resemble those you might find in the part of a graveyard reserved for dead villains and criminals soon. Blue lights bathe the area in an evil glow and low lying fog spreads out over the yard. A wicked spider has decided to take residence alond the side of the porch to catch any unwary prey that happens by.
I have one motion activated, ground breaking zombie lurking near the front steps, an etheral FCG floating over the front porch and Mr. Grimm stands guard on the porch roof waiting for his next victim. Various ghosts, demons and evil spirits float through the graveyard seeking out new victims to torment. One unfortunate soul has been chained to a tree so long, nothing remains but a picked clean skeleton and an evil glow from it's eyes.
My current plans are to add more stones, put in a Monster in the box and spread the haunt around the side of my yard.
