DIESELPUNK!Gaslamp Fantasy fiction.
Haunted New Orleans. As a matter of fact, ANYTHING to do with New Orleans.
Old-fashioned Halloween, Martha Stewart halloween, anything vintage and full of ambience.
I enjoy conspiracy theories.
Being Human is the only TV show I need to watch.
I love pouring over cookbooks with my husband, watching my daughter dance, and watching old WWII documentaries with my son.
I love my Pomeranian, my Maine Coon, and my hamster. I Love Animals, and am finding it increasingly difficult to enjoy eating them.
I LOVE music. And goggles. Oh, and the Moth and the Praying Mantis are my totem animals.

Not into blood and gore.
Anyone who tries to recruit me for their Agenda. You know who you are.

Mornings me no likey.
My worst enemy is boredom.

Every party's a different theme: Haunted Mansion, Arachnaphobia, N'Awlins Voodoo, Edwardian Sideshow, and Hung Em High Saloon. This year isn't a theme, per se', but I was heavily inspired by Nosferatu.

I used to have a Gothic/Halloween website. I started it up just as the economy was starting to tank, so it didn't last even a year. Bummer.

We live in a townhouse, so it's impossible to do an actual Haunt. I suffice by throwing parties when we can. I'm a Taurus/Sagittarius rising - I was born to throw parties.

You are the Hanged Man

Self-sacrifice, Sacrifice, Devotion, Bound.

With the Hanged man there is often a sense of fatalism, waiting for something to happen. Or a fear of
loss from a situation, rather than gain.

The Hanged Man is perhaps the most fascinating card in the deck. It reflects the story of Odin who offered himself as a sacrifice in order to gain knowledge. Hanging from the world tree, wounded by a spear, given no bread or mead, he hung for nine days. On the last day, he saw on the ground runes that had fallen from the tree, understood their meaning, and, coming down, scooped them up for his own. All knowledge is to be found in these runes.

The Hanged Man, in similar fashion, is a card about suspension, not life or death. It signifies selflessness, sacrifice and prophecy. You make yourself vulnerable and in doing so, gain illumination. You see the world differently, with almost mystical insights.

 Happy St. Patty's Day!

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
