Gardening, Water Gardening (I have a pond), we raise rabbits (foul and eeeevil creatures, for those Monty Python fans out there) and movies!
We go with our group to Bristol Renaissance Faire once a year... usually decked out as the Monthy Python Holy Grail cast... It's a blast!

LOTS of movies... Funny, we don't watch too many scary flicks, but hubby and I are learning! Our volunteers are directing us to which ones to watch! Be gentle with us! Remember, we're new at the whole scary movie thing!

I usually watch Hocus Pocus for my bewitching inspiration! I combine all three of the lead roles to 'create' my character.

Everything but rap! Let's see... Jesse Cook, Rush, John Denver, Dr. Dimento... Yeah... We're crazy!

Self improvement books and audio books... I never get time to actually READ! haha! I have a library of books on tarot, palm reading, pagan holidays, gardening, cooking.... but I rarely get to enjoy them.

All of our proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin! We love Sponsors and Volunteers! New ideas (aka: Fresh Blood) and Free stuff (like freecycle.org) that we can use for the haunt! We love movies which give inspiration, and we love a good long soak in the hot tub (aka: Management Meetings) and ofcourse going to Ren Faire as the cast from Monty Pythons Holy Grail!

Negative people and people who say 'No' before you've even had a chance to toss your hat into the ring. Also, people who try to force their beliefs on others. I HATE this economy, but we will do our best this year. Wish us luck, or let us know if you can help out!

We started out, hosting a Halloween party back in the late 90's... Being our trick or treat hours were on Halloween night - all of our party attendants brought their leftover candy, and came in costume. We decorated the house for the first time and it seemed like kids came from all over to ring our bell! Pretty soon, we realized, not everyone could stand inside by the door, and since it was nice out, our party guests started to spread out into the yard, scaring the trick or treaters... After all was said and done, the rest of the evening was spent planning our first yard haunt! It didn't matter that my husband and I wanted nothing to do with it! It was a lot of work - but, after a few years of doing it, it grew on us, and now we are on our third year of haunting 'semi-professionally'. In 2006 we haunted a church, and in 2007, we haunted at the Petit National Ice Arena which is on our State Fair Park grounds! We have been collecting for Make-A-Wish for 5 years now... and have done pretty well! We are glad to help such a fang-tastic organization!
