Love those Vampire movies! Zombies are quite fun, as well. I enjoy scary movies that have a good amount of twisted humor...The Lost Boys, From Dusk till Dawn (All 3, but the 1st is best!) Devil's Rejects, Cabin Fever, Jeepers Creepers, Wrong Turn, Army of Darkness, Planet Terror, Motel Hell , The Believers (1987), Frailty, J. C.'s Vampires, and too many more to name. I also like Action Movies, Mysteries and Crime Dramas,...Death Sentence, The Gift, Training Day, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Wildthings, Bound, Freeway, Empire, American History X, 8MM, Seven, Etc. I like certain comedies too, but you can pretty much keep the sappy love stories

Stephen King,(of course)and that type of thing. Also True Crime, and books about interesting people and places. Don't read as much as I used to...I should change that!

Living right next to Salem. Learning more about making bigger and better props. Doing scary doll remakes, and getting creative with other arts and crafts projects. Spending time with good friends or family. Animals-especially my 5 cats, (very large) Ryukan Goldfish, and Albino African Clawed frog. Nature, the ocean, exploring old cemeteries and forgotten places. Working in my rock garden. Photography, scary movies, music. Candles, incense, crystals, chimes and mystical things. Wiccans. Meaningful tattoos. Positive energy. Joyful morbidity. People with a good sick sense of humor!

Closed minded people who don't like Halloween, and can't even pretend to be a little interested in my obssesion!"Scaredy Cats" that won't come to my Halloween Party! Mistreatment of animals.(Or eating them.)Aggressive crazy drivers. Disrespect and rudeness. Lack of common sense and courtesy. Smoking.
When the things you HAVE to do outweigh the things you WANT to do!

I have always loved Halloween! I remember Trick-or-Treating as a kid, and how thrillingly terrifying it was when the occasional house would have scary lights and music and a few decorations. (Still nothing like you see these days!) I had my first party when I was in the 6th grade. Later, I had some friends that would have wonderful Halloween parties every year, with crazy decorations and homemade special effects. I learned a lot from them. (My brother and I even put on a Haunted Garage one year.) But, my friends all got busy with other things and my Octobers got kind of dull. Having lived most of my adult life in apartments, I couldn't really do much of anything myself. I never even got any Trick-or-Treaters! So, I started going to my parents house and decorating a little, dressing up and handing out their goodies. BUT, now I live in a house, on a nice, quiet dead end street and I am going HALLOWEEN CRAZY!! I usually have a party for the Grown Ups the Saturday night before Halloween and then I do a big display for the kids on Halloween night. The whole neighborhood seems to enjoy it, and they are joining in more and more. I have gotten about 175 kids for the past two years. I make a most of my stuff, and plan to make a lot more of it in the future, thanks to what I have learned here at HauntSpace. My first couple of years I did the basic cemetary scene on the front lawn. In 2007 I did CARNIVAL OF TERROR, and I did NIGHTMARE CRYPTMAS for 2008, which was very fun. This year I don't think I'm having the party, but I plan to do something much bigger in the yard.
(Hey...does anyone have any suggestions on making a HELL HOLE?!)
