Writing supernatural fiction, weight lifting, tennis, hiking, fishing, golf. Interested in all aspects of the supernatural and paranormal, including mythical creatures, legends, and folklore. Collect vintage Halloween decorations.

Halloween, Curse of the Demon, Phantasm, Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Dracula (original), Dark Night of the Scarecrow, The Ring, The Haunting (Shirley Jackson), House on Haunted Hill (original), Lord of the Rings, Mad Max, Indiana Jones Series. I watch almost exclusively supernatural and horror movies, and especially enjoy mood and atmosphere. I also reccommend classic sci-fi films, such as Forbidden Planet, War of the Worlds, Logan's Run, Star Wars, Predator, Alien, and Galaxy of Terror. For TV series, my favorites were Millennium and X-

Files for the modern era, classics would definitely be Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, a few from Tales From the Darkside, and of course the always insightfully creepy Night Gallery. The Specials category would include Disney's Halloween Treat and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Alternative, reggae, classical, funk, classic and progressive rock.

Author of "Restless Shades," "Frightful October," "Trouble Visions," "Dark Harvest," "Ogre's Passing," and recently released is "The Watching" and "Bad Candy" (with Al Sarrantonio) from Bad Moon Books launching their annual Halloween line. They also publish exclusive Limited Editions from Clive Barker (Hellbound Hellraiser author.) "Mischief Night" will be released in October 2011 for another installment.
I've sold over 100 stories in the supernatural and horror markets, including CEMETERY DANCE, FANGORIA, DARK REALMS, LOVECRAFT'S WEIRD MYSTERIES, BEST OF HORRORFIND 2, DARK WISDOM, SHIVERS 3, and the DARKSIDE series. I've also had some Hollywood interest in optioning some of my short stories for film adaptation.

Monster Bash, Halloween Central, Movie MADness, Ghost Stories

Violence, ignorance, politicians.

I'm a small business owner, teach part-time at a local college, and play keyboards for the band Solid Gold. I play keys and guitar, and have been performing live for quite a while, anywhere from local nightclubs to stadiums.

I also write, primarily supernatural fiction for around 9 years and have sold over 100 stories, some of which you can find at your local bookstore in mass market anthologies such as "A Walk on the Darkside" and "Lost on the Darkside." I live in the country on several secluded acres of land with my wife, black cat, and Husky, along with all the other critters living on the mountain.

I've always been into Halloween, growing up on healthy doses of B-monster movies, comic books, and all things weird, and this helped inspire much of my writing ("Frightful October" available at Amazon). Halloween is about having fun and keeping your imagination in synch with the world around us, something many people seriously lack these days. There's a lot more to the universe than your next paycheck, TV, or the daily grind, and people need to look around, especially to the stars and even the frontiers of our own world, and at least wonder what else is out there that we don't understand, which is pretty much everything.

And no, that's not my real age...

How's it going? Been posting on GD lately? I'm trying to stay on it the year-long this time. Take care.

Paul.

...I've been trying to post at both sites, but I have a sinus infection that won't go away.  I've also been starting to get ready for Passover.  Passover doesn't start until the end of March this year, but it takes a lot of preperation.  I may grumble a bit, but I love the celebration.  Having my family together for that time is special and something I wouldn't want to miss no matter how much trouble it is.

Take care!
