Since my childhood, Halloween always had a
special place in my heart. My mother didn't like
Halloween as much tough. So I spent my childhood
trying to decorate the house window as I can with
what my mother wanted to buy (Mostly monster drawings on cardboard).
My interest for Halloween really grew up 3 years
ago when I bought my house. Because I was in my
house, I could then decorate it for Halloween the
way I wanted it.
My first haunt was completely commercial,
everything on the yard was bought from Walmart.
Then the second year, my wife and I got the idea
of building a cemetery. We then bought some foam
tombstones to add to our haunt. We decided that
each year we would add some more tombstones until
we fill our yard with them.
The 2008 arrived. I decided I would build my
first prop, a full size toe-pincher coffin. I
searched the web for plans and found there was a
lot of people doing very cool thing for Halloween
all by themselves. They gave me the inspiration
and a purpose: I wanted to be one of those very
good Yard Haunter.
Since 2008, I started building props. Most of
them are very simple but I am proud of my work
and I believe I will get better as I gain experience.
If you have question about my props (they can be
found in my picture gallery), don't hesitate to
ask, I will gladly answer your questions. And if
you need help about web site programming I can
really be of help to you. I've been working as a
web developper since 2000.
In short, I am the average guy with a twisted
mind about Halloween. I am new to home haunting
but this has become my new passion and hobby. For
most people, Halloween is one day in a year. For
me, Halloween is all year long and now, I work
very hard to put in children's mind that
Halloween is the best holiday of all!
