Halloween Night! Prop-making, Camping, Bass Fishing, Snorkeling, Gardening, Flea Markets & Yard Sales, After Halloween Clearance Sales! DRAGONS!

Picking up all the dropped candy that litters the yard after Halloween Night. Trampled Tombstones. Thieves.

I’ve been married for 31 years. My husband, Billy, and I are owned by a very spoiled chocolate lab named Roxie.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! We do a "Haunted Cemetery" at my friend Christy’s house. We've been spooking kids of all ages for about 16+ years now. It has really grown from a small display on her front porch to around the side of her house.

Our haunt is geared for all ages. In the future, as we expand it into her backyard, I'd like to add a more 'sinister' displays. (*evil laugh*)

The Trick-or-Treaters must follow a path through the main graveyard, survive the Cove of Nightmares where the “walking dead” lurk, and then go beyond to the area where they claim their reward for surviving the scary journey.

Last year, we decided it’s time to give a name for our ever-growing yard haunt-- Wailing Whistle Cemetery. (Christy lives next to the railroad tracks so the name fits perfectly.)

Creating new props is a passion. This year's newest additions were: Main entrance sign, Cove of Nightmares archway entrance, Edgar the ghoul, Snotty the ghoul, and several small props. Future projects are: more elaborate tombstones, a few corpsified bluckys, a FCG, FCG crypt, Stolloween-style pumpkins, groundbreaking coffins, pumpkinrot-style groundbreakers, more full-sized static props, a couple of fog chillers, and a full-sized toe-pincher coffin for a scare actor to lie in, and...OMG! My list is endless!

And I dream longingly about having my first REAL Bucky skeleton, “corpsified” by my loving hands, joining me at Wailing Whistle Cemetery with all my other creepy creations. Maybe next year… (sigh)

Thanks for visiting and be sure to check out my Halloween pics! HAPPY SCARES!!
