Believe it or not I have never been a big fan of Horror Films, they have always scared me to near death and have given me many a restless night. Just recently I have begun to watch and enjoy them, but I still get freaked out over the possession movies. I watched about 20 minutes of "The Exorcist" with my back to the screen, and even less minutes of "Poltergeist" Ironically, a prop I built for one Halloween party was a girl getting sucked into a television. There is just something about a deep voice coming from a female or child that weirds me out.

ABOUT ME OR MY HAUNTING PASSIONS
Ever since I can remember I alway dug Halloween though aspects of the holiday used to really scare me. My family always took vacations centered around amusement parks so the natural love of the dark ride and walk though began to enter into my everyday life. When I became too old to go door to door for candy, I began to rig up stunts at my parents house for the trick or treaters, through the years the passion has grown. For the most part my wife and I throw a almost annual Halloween Party where I transform the entire house into that year's macabre theme. NO Costume, No Entry, No Exceptions. Like many home haunters the hobby has outgrown the house and I am planning to take the next step and go commercial. Realistically I hope to have some sort of commercial Haunt in operation by 2011...hence the birth of "Terror Plant".
As Christmas day quickly approaches, I wanted to take a moment and wish you a happy holiday. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukka, Kwanza...or whetever you call this time of year...we all celebrate a special time with friends and family.
Some people exchange gifts, while others exchange warm hugs and tender sentiments. No matter how you choose to celebrate it, I wish wonderful holiday season and hope that the upcoming year is one of many blessings and happy occassions.
