Hey, we did it. I have to call the restaurant this week, and find out what their cutoff date is for reserving the party room for October 18. We are all going to go out to dinner, in costume, and freak out the boring people. A couple of tips, if you are considering doing this with your group: Call the restaurant well in advance, make sure they are ok with it. Ask people to wear 'appetizing' costumes. I was scrolling through the listing of Halloween costumes on E-Bay this morning and I noticed a disturbing trend that seems to have taken over the last few years. When did Halloween costumes turn from scary to sexy? I swear, 90% of the costumes listed on there were anorexic women with breast implants dressed as sexy kittens or Little Red Riding Hood.
