what do you do with your jack o' lanterns after their 'big night'?

do you throw them away? dump them? add them to the compost pile?

i'm curious as to what you haunters do with them... i was always told to place them on the north side of your house. that their grinning faces will keep bad luck away if you allow them to rot back into the earth, undisturbed, there.

i started out with just one pumpkin this year... i carved it and set it out with a candle in it...

my son, Josh went out with friends tonight, and they came in at around midnight... with several pumpkins rolling around the bed of the truck! i was afraid to ask how they got them, but kids will be kids, and it is Halloween after all-TRICK or treat, right?

i had mentioned a month or so ago that i had an idea for a fog chiller, and it finally came to be! i wanted to share it with you all.

it's a Fog Curtain. it spans a doorway out of the Pinhead area of our haunted trail, with a strobe behind it.

it consists of a piece of 3 inch pvc pipe with holes drilled in the bottom of it to allow the chilled fog to escape. in the trail, we had the pipe filled with frozen 16 ounce soda bottles. a piece of dryer duct runs from the fogge... Read More
