for some reason, the past 2 weeks or so have been awesome for us! and today things got EVEN BETTER!the film crew is at the house now.... i am at work. BUT my friend is house-sitting so all is well on the homefront. i probably won't be on chat tonight though... they've had to move the computer and desk outta the living room, and we've loaned our laptop (craptop, lol) out to a friend. i just hope we can watch GhostHunters... i got a call back from the monument guys. after they declined... Last year, we spend a lot of money on "CreepThru," and didn't make any profit. I've been discussing the idea of an admission fee to walk through our haunt this year, but my conscience keeps saying "NO!" However, I do want to make some kind of profit off of what we do. So now the question remains, How much do I charge? Let's say we put close to $500 in this year [I came into a huge ammount of free wood for building, which cuts down on costs], would I be better off charging $0.50 or $1.00? ... Read More
we worked on the trail last Saturday night and got a little accomplished. we got the outhouse squared away, except for the half moon on the door. the bathtub is in place. i finally got those lazy boys to take down the old ChainSaw Guy's room. problem is, they didn't stack all the old wood neatly like i asked them too. so now i need to do that. it will be SO MUCH EASIER to rebuild that area if the materials we have are neatly stacked. we can see what we have and just go get what we need. easy as... Reading back on my last few blog entries, I realize that over a year has expired since I joined HauntSpace, and just like cyberspace, much has changed. My new (1 year old and now off warranty) refrigerator is making similar noises, (groans, moans, rattles), as its deceased predecessor. Probably the compressor again. My website no longer exists.
