HorrorFind was this past weekend and it was GREAT!  I had to do some heavy hauling ass to finish my entry, and was in an emotional meltdown mid-week because I had to still finish the head piece for one of the costumes. I'm mid-way in recovery at the moment.  Sorry I haven't been online however, our house is really the morgue of the walking wounded...Andy had double hernia surgery and is holding an icebag to his gut like he has to pee, I'm still on the gimp with this knee, my youngest comes home every other day with some bump/bruise/scrape to deal with from running about after youngsters for an outdoor camp.  Even the dog is showing signs of being in a constant ache.  Sheesh... I am nearly out of softball season -- this Saturday are the last games.  Which means Sunday, I get to start working on my competition piece for the horrorfind convention coming to Adelphi, MD.

I went out and bought nearly everything I need but didn't start on it because once I get goin' -- I can't stop.  I like competitions because it truly broadens the mind and spirit PLUS gives you great ideas...and then of course, huuge examples of what NOT to do...

Went to my first horrorfind convention today and it was awesome! I enjoyed every second of it. I got an awesome shirt and some stuff to finish off my Umbrella Corp. costume. Everybuddy there was great. I even ran into Borlof? from Monster Madhouse. It was refreshing to meet so many likeminded people in the same place. I advise anyone who hasn't experienced such an event to do so!
