I'm mid-way in recovery at the moment.  Sorry I haven't been online however, our house is really the morgue of the walking wounded...Andy had double hernia surgery and is holding an icebag to his gut like he has to pee, I'm still on the gimp with this knee, my youngest comes home every other day with some bump/bruise/scrape to deal with from running about after youngsters for an outdoor camp.  Even the dog is showing signs of being in a constant ache.  Sheesh...   Hello Creeps!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged much and the extended delay in responding.  It's still very painful to sit up to a computer.

Recovery is slow and I've been tapped off twice a week since surgery.  The very cool news is that I got my ankle tatoo after putting that off for 2 decades.

*SURGERY UPDATE*

Thank you everyone for your well wishes -- you guys are the best!

It's official -- torn ACL, torn both meniscus, torn posterior ligament and huge amount of bruised bone tissue.  It looks so horrible that it's nearly inspiriing!LOL  I'm laid up for 2 months.

I'm trying to figure out color swatches from the bruises - god are they ever ugly! How to re-create that kind of swelling mess has got me stumped but I'm getting warmer...LOLOL
