Beginnings of the Black Widow Wagon/Hearse
Posted On 03/30/2008 19:34:30 by PAHalloweenFreak

Well I have begun working on the Black Widow Wagon/Hearse.  My back is killing me, I have spinters and hit my finger with the hammer.  LOL!!  It is going to be WAY heavier than I had wanted but Oh Well!  Luckily all of the pressure treated wood for the frame was FREE!  Only got the frame done so far.  Next comes the luan plywood.  Hopefully it will cover up the imperfections. Let's just say my miter cuts leave much to be desired!!  LOL!!  I hate angles!!!  Add the fact that I am working with inferior tools doesn't help either.  But I have to make due with what I have.  The thing that really drives me nuts is that I have the carpentry gene in my family but I guess I didn't get it.  LOL!!

So here are a few pics.

Me cutting the decking handrails for the top and bottom detail.

The frame put together.

Rotoff next to it to see if the sizing is going to work.
