Ok, who was the wise guy that came up with the idea that I could make this carriage? Oh right! That would be me. But I know something on here inspired me to do it so someone else is partially to blame! LOL!! I wonder if I will ever get this thing done!! Just a few notes of interest that may be helpful to others. A 4 ft. Blucky wears about a size 12 boys shoe. The pants I got for him are a boys size 14, the shirt is a size 18 but is a bit big and the blazer I used is a woman's size 12. That is even a bit big but hey for $1.99 at the Salvation Army, I couldn't pass it up especially since I couldn't find anything else close to what I wanted. Now for tattering the clothes I have found that the saw that came with my mitre box works splendidly to rip & fray the material. Now all I have to do is stomp it in the dirt for the full affect. You can also take a sander with a course paper to help rough up the material a bit more. For the shoes (they looked brand new when I bought them) I took them out on the road and dragged them on the pavement. Hey, that's what little kids do!! To make the holes, I took a drill and put a hole in the shoe, then took needle nose pliers and ripped it open more so that it made the hole bigger and frayed the edges. I have to tell you destroying perfectly good clothing is really fun!! Now I know why kids do it all the time!! LOL!! Here are a few more pics to bring you up to date.
