This week I finished my 2nd Haunted Doll Remake. She started as a $10.00 (Walgreens) Victorian style doll with a lacy dress and a big goofy hat, etc. However I think she is MUCH more attractive now! Her name is Gabriella
I removed all the lace and fru-fru from her dress, tinted it a little darker, duller green, and cut and styled her hair. I repainted her face, (craft store acrylic paint) redecorated her dress, and made her jewelry and cape. (And tossed the goofy hat!) I also bought another doll with brown hair and eyes which I plan to do as well. And I may go back to get more dolls. The first one I made was an old "Heidi" looking Doll that I got at a yard sale. Her name is Hezra. Maybe if these dolls had been around when I was a kid I would have liked playing with dolls! Hmmmm...where can I get some Barbie dolls......
