Well, the website is up and I appear to have a spare thirty seconds to enter my first blog. First thing that comes to mind is that this next 37 days is going to be a frenzy of activity. Still got lots to do, but got to fit in my paying job. (The haunt will pay off after the fact) This is our first year and I am terrified that I'm going to screw it up! Have decided to scale back the original plan somewhat which will require more rewrites. Seems like I have been writing non-stop since the 4th of July rush was over and the boss said to me..."What would you think of doing a haunted house this year..?" Needless to say, I was on it like white on rice and gave her a rough draft of the backstory a week later. 7 revisions later my site is up, and I'm trying to keep myself from tweaking it too much...eats into revision time.
