Ok, I have got the clown wigs, now I have been trying to figure out how to get the hair to be 'poofy', like the hair that Heckles and Twitch have, but I have been unable to find out how to do ti...and I am not really the best with hair since most of my characters have had something covering it or didn't need to have hair made up a certain way. Does anyone know how I can get that effect with the hair?

You may want to ask CreepyChrisS.  He does work as a clown so he may be able to help you with your hair.

Just Tease the hair ..... ask some of these 'Women of the 80's' how they styled theirs... Should work just the same on the wig.

Ahem, "Women of the 80's" LOL

Speaking as a woman of the 80's all you need is hair pick or comb and a can of aqua net (though I'm not sure how that hair spray will work on synthetic wigs - might just eat it up. Ack!)

yeah i would test it on an old wig 1st, but it should do well.  we did have some BIG hair back in the day!

I find that using hair spray and combing layer by layer and spraying works really well.  However, after you wear it it wil ltend to go flat after awhile, so its an ongoing process of re-teasing the wig.

i wonder... hair spray would probably do it, temporarily... but what about spray adhesive? if you spray it lightly and tease/fluff with an old brush would that work? if it does, it would probably hold all night. test it on an old wig 1st just in case.

Well...I have 2 wigs, and I worked on the red wig. This is what the result was of my first attempt at teasing the hair. I also have to shape it some, but I think it looks pretty good. What do you think?

Very nice, it reminds me of the EdgeCity FX Clowns (www.storeofdoom.com).

I did a quick little mini photo-shoot with some makeup and whatnot. I did not use liquid latex to cover up the edges because of time restrictions we had, but the make-up artist (who I trust with make-up for anything) and I decided on making the make-up look rushed, and not perfect at all...just like it was in a hurry. I think we achieved the look, and when we actually get the time we will make the edges blend in more. I still think the one pic I have seen looks great, and I should be getting more pics tomorrow. I will check the pics when I get them and post a few images of the quick little photoshoot we did tomorrow.
