Ok, I know I have started the last 3 (including this thread) threads in this section, but I do have a question I have been wanting to know about since I received my foam prosthetic. The way it looks, part of the foam latex goes on my lips, but, is Spirit Gum safe to put on the lips for it stick on them? I wasn't sure about it because I have never tried putting any on my lips. I don't think I will try putting liquid latex on my lips, and the makeup will cover up the difference between the foam prosthetic and my actual lips.

So, do you think spirit gum is safe to put a little on the lips?

I have used spirit gum on my lips before, with no problems. Just don't ingest the SG.

Yes it's safe but I would recommend using pros-aid or pros-aid 2. Pros-aid stays inplace longer around expression points on the face. Spirit gum tends to give out after you start sweating. But becareful when removing Pros-aid. It uses a realease agent and can tear foam latex if your not careful when removing your apliances. Pros-aid 2 is more forgiving.

I agree about using the Pros-aid, and I highly recommend using Pros-aid remover around the lips, since they are more sensitive than the rest of your skin.

it is safe to use spirit gum around your lips.a couple of things though.make sure you have a remover to help get it off and if your a guy and have facial hair,use somevaseline on facial hair to prevent spirit gum from sticking directly to hair.
