There is a new movie in production right now called Halloween Night - Halloween Night-the Movie - by my friends at Cinegraphic Productions (aka Polonia Bros. Entertainment). By the way, I designed and developed the website.

Due to my experience with my own haunted house I'll be the credited set designer for the film, and I even get to play a "victim" of the killer (I think it's "Drunk Guy #1" or something). Many of my haunt props will be used in the movie.

For those that don't know the Polonia Brothers films, let's just say they've made some of the best worst films ever. They're legends in the independent, no-budget film world. And they live in my area, which is how I came to be recruited for this project.

This will be a super low budget, direct to video type thing, but it will be a lot of fun!

I think it's really cool that props I've made get to be in an actual movie about Halloween. I feel very lucky.

We have a real "live" celebrity in our midsts. This is very awesome!

Thats great! It's we all dream of.  We'll be able to say we knew you when.

I died a horrrible death this weekend, or at least my character did! We filmed the scenes leading up to my death, and the actual death scene itself, special effects and all.

All in all it was a lot of fun, very bloody. Plus I got to see Brett Piper, low-budget b-movie special effects guru, in action.

We still have more scenes to shoot, plus the big set that I'm decorating with my haunt props. I'll keep everyone posted.

I have a movie idea............trying to write a short story and see where it goes.

Overall I was pleased with how the site turned out. The client wanted a site that wasn't tied to a specific genre, so that limited my theme choices. Thanks for the compliment. It helps when you're the graphic designer and the developer / coder.

UPDATE:

Filming is complete and post-production / editing has already started. So far it looks fantastic! They are trying to have is ready for a late-Oct premier.

The premier may be on the big screen at the famous Arcadia Theater in Wellsboro, PA, where there has been quite a few real Hollywood premiers held over the years. That would be very cool.

I'll post when I have more details about distribution and availability.
