Howl-ie!

I'm lookin' for a training video for our Scare-Actors... most of which are brand new to haunting. Just the basics... we can handle the specifics for each area of our haunt. I am sick of spending $30 for one DVD... and I get it, and it's lame - or NOT what I was expecting.... It's not like I can go to Netflix or our library and get some! Grrrr....

Also - we're interested in videos on air brush makeup!

I know the feeling exactly.

Have purchased a few of those. They seemed like they were worth it at first. Only to be let down, falling short of my expectations. There needs to be a Haunter's netflicks of sorts. Just say no to bad H/T's. I've found that haunt seminars do help to fill this gap.

I think I can get you an amazing powerpoint. It's from people who own some haunts in Virginia that did a prresentation that was simply out of this world at horrorfind in MD earlier this year. I learned a lot about a pro haunt and what an actor should do. I could try to contact them if you'd like.

Hey Karen,

When we have actors that need tips we usually suggest that they watch a lot of horror films...they soon get the idea.... along with our own training and ideas.   We also will put them with one of our talented actors for a while.  I have to say.... the true 'scaractors' have it already in them.  The ones that don't give them a prop or something noisy to use!

As far as air-brush make-up there is a gentleman on the net who is a make-up artist who has his videos on line....he is very good, but I appologize I can not think of his name at the moment... it starts with the letter 'R'.   Maybe if you google air-brush make-up artists, he will pop up.

Good luck!
BB

Some of the haunts I worked for had me do acting excersizes, and improv games to help us. If you were interested, I could message you about some of the excersizes... Free!
