Did a quick check online and it looks like 2" is about the smallest.  If I come across any, I will let you know.

Haunted minds think alike, I just found that same site and was looking for a U.S. site with the same spiders... no luck yet. My computer is acting up again. I'm soooooooo sick of Windows!!!

So far the only place I found is a site over in the UK. The package only has 6 of them. Of course you'd have to figure out the conversion for dollars as wel.

What are you going to use the spiders for? Is it for something that will be seen up close? If it's seen from a distance, would spider confetti work?

I found a bunch of tiny spiders like that at the Only $0.99 store.  Start checking soon, I'm sure they're gonna show up.

We're adding some more detail to our spider's lair. I got the idea out of the Martha Stewart Halloween Magazine last year (go to:

http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=c43bd0f19132f010VgnVCM1000003d3 70a0aRCRD&autonomy_kw=spiders&rsc=header_1

for some more ideas)

We want to make the egg sacs (like is in the background of this picture)

ft_oct03msl06_m.jpg According to the "how to" from the magazine, you need to smaller spiders for inside of the sac and then you glue the 2" or larger on the outside. I left a note on Martha Stewart.com as to where they got them, but they told me RI.com...checked there. Nothing but the 2" or bigger ones. However they do have a nice variety in case anyone is interested.

The above web address doesn't give the how to's on the sacs, so if anyone is interested let me know and I'll post them with the pics.

If the web address doesn't work, got to :

Marthastewart.com, type in spiders in the search block, and then go into

Spooky Porches: Arachnophobia
