Synopsis: A mysterious virus has infected the small town of Leadville, Colorado and the military is brought in to enforce a quarantine and stop the spread of the disease. As people perish, survivors realize that the virus is creating the walking dead who crave human flesh. Only a small number of people are immune to the virus and those few survivors must battle to fend off the infected zombies while trying to make it out of town alive.

The Rip: Steve Miner is the director on this take on Zombie Guru George A. Romero's Day of the Dead. The film doesn't really follow the 1985 cult classic, and the movie has more of the feel of a Resident Evil pic than a "Living Dead" film. It's like most typical zombie flesh-a-thons, except these beasties are fast! I mean REAL FAST! It's more like Day of the Dead on Crack! They can climb walls, jump down buildings and leap over cars! Mena Suvari is hardly believable as a kick butt Army Corporal. I just can't get that Apple Pie and Stifler's Mom out 'O my head...That being said, if you don't take it too seriously, you can still have fun with it.

The army zombie that was vegetarian kept making Zoolander's "Blue Steel" face. (Actually, all Zoolander's faces.)

It was a cool movie. The zombies were crazy fast in it.

Any zombie movie will scare the hell outta me, so I'm in!!! lol

OK if I remember this was the movie that has Zombies crawling on the ceiling. Although I’m a big ZOMBIE fan, I gave this movie up once I saw that part.
