Hi Boos & Ghouls,

I've only been here since Monday or Tuesday of this week and still learning my way around.  I just now found this portion of the site so wanted to give a shout out to all and a thank you to those who have welcomed me here so quickly.  I've been really impressed with how friendly and willing to help everyone is here.

I always loved Halloween and my family has had halloween parties going back as far as my great grandparents, long before I was born.  I'm the carrier of the torch these days and obviously things have changed over the years.  lol 

We had a halloween costume/anniversary party for our 30th anniversary in 2002 but at that time, my health wasn't very good and I couldn't do what I really wanted to do.  In 2007 I finally made it back to give it another shot.    Of course this time I went lots bigger (and hopefully better...lol) and had a great time with it.  For the last year I've been searching the net and finding Halloween sites and have blown away with the fabulous info out there today - and the talent is remarkable for home haunting now!

I'm so excited about doing it all again this year that I'm already setting up my family room and my family thinks I've finally totally lost it to start putting halloween stuff up in early August.   But seeing the skellies and jack o lanterns at the hearth each time I walk through the room makes me feel like it's almost here.    Ok, I live in a fantasy and it's not really almost here but I can pretend so don't shatter my illusions.  lol lol lol 

Thanks for letting share space with the greatest halloween talents on the planet.  I hope to get to know you all.

SWEETIE, WHAT ILLUSION?  FOR MOST OF US HERE, HALLOWEEN IS EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR.  MY FAMILY ALWAYS THOUGHT BE DIFFERENT, ALL BUT MY DAD.  MY LIVING ROOM COFFE TABLE IS A TOE PINCHER COFFIN, GARGOLES OF EVERY SIZE ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE.  NOT TO MENTION THE COCO CLOCK WITH THE RAVEN IN IT ON THE WALL.  SO DON'T FEEL ODD, YOUR WITH FAMILY: )
