How can I melt pvc pipe without a heat gun? I need to make a t-connector into a flat stand by flating the the top of the t .

You can melt pvc tubing over the stovetop. ( not GASS!!!)  Turn on you vent to high and the burner to med. Hold it over the burner and slowley turn  it. one it is plyable and in the shape you want cool it down with cold water.
BE CAREFUL and try NOT to breath in the fumes!!!!!

I don't know how you want to melt it but it also works if you put it in a pot of boiling water

this sounds terribly dangerous... doesn't PVC have LEAD in it?! i'm much to paranoid to use PVC for anything haha... it scares me! [and not the GOOD scared haha]
