depending on how big they are (trading card sized?), you could get one of those family collage style photo frames (the big ones with all the different size and shape cut out holes to put different photos in) and hang it on the wall as a central decoration.  You can usually pick them up pretty cheap at places like wal-mart or michael's.

You could blow them up to poster size and use a wall art arount the house or you could make copies of them an use them to make invites. When you get you're scanner working you could use them as backrounds for you're  profile page.  Shrink  and copy them and use as tags for  treat bags.  Decopage on to a couple of journals and use as a idea journal. Print on to iron transfure paper and put on sone t-shirts  , bags, etc...   Hpoe this gives you ideas

If you don't mind my two cents worth, I thought the family portraits was a great idea but I would do something like Uncle Frank; may he rest in pieces.
