Prom Night

Synopsis: Three years ago, Donna watched in horror as an obsessed predator murdered her family. Tonight is her senior prom and although she’s anxious about the past, she’s excited to celebrate her future with her friends. What Donna doesn’t know is that the deranged psychopath has escaped from the asylum. He’s returned to hunt her down, intent on killing anyone who gets in his way. As the night races towards its heart-pounding conclusion, the question becomes not who will be prom queen, but who will survive the killer’s rampage.
The Rip: I preferred the original version with Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis. This was just another typical teen slasher flick, with nothing new to add to the genre. It was so predictable, that ya could leave for a tinkle break, come back, and still know what’s going on! There wasn’t even the mystery of trying to figure out who the killer was, as they show ya who the bum is from the start! If you want to see Prom Night, volunteer to be a chaperone at yer local high school’s instead!!
