The Maze of Terror is a non-profit haunt that has been privately run for over 6 years. It's 1,500 sq. ft. plus haunted attraction, is housed inside a domed metal machine shed 37x82.Being a private haunt we can do things that other haunts can't. For example, We can have it completely dark with the exception of effects & some theatrical lighting. There are many twists & turns, dead ends, & surprises throughout. This year's theme was "Superstions & Phobias". It was inspired by the movie "The Relic". We had a record turn out for attendance this year. "Second chance Scream" night was a disapointment. Many promised patrons didn't appear, & only a hand full of frightened patrons did.
Maze fun facts:
It takes usually 40 plus hours to assemble from countless hours of research & planning.
A crew of two plus are the main builders of the maze.
Each year it grows & changes, size, theme, etc.
No nails are used in the assembly.
The haunt uses recycled materials in it's build
Use a hand full of volunteers as haunters
It takes usually 20 plus hours to completely demo the maze.
Since demolition is necessary at the end of the season, every maze layout design is completely different.
