Well if you need a place to put it, you can always use my yard..

I'd be happy to help you out with some money if he rejects your offer

That is EXTREMELY kind.  Very appreciated.

The bad part is that even if I had it, I couldn't do anything with it until I got a building.  Something like that needs to be under a roof.  I've also taken into consideration that a sprinkler system would also have to come into play.  THEN you have to get all the lighting, props and scenes.

I know that I offered him a thousand more than he paid for it and the ride in my eyes is worth every penn of what he's asking but for me, it's more of a pride of ownership thing until I can find a place to put it.

I do have a little idea though, I have a buddy that has a very large building that "might" strike a deal with me.  Then I'd have to go out and find tons of sponsors because I could never afford to get everything I needed.

As of this point, I haven't heard anything back from him.  Considering that it's the weekend, I'll probabaly hear from him tomorrow.  He might also want to keep it a little longer and see what other offers he'll get, which is only right but if he waits too long I'll probably retract so I can put the funding towards something else.

Like Maddy said, if it's no this one, there will be others, amusement parks are going out of business all over the place, or replacing older dark ride systems with these new interactive jobs with the battery operated programmable people mover systems.

Lions and Tigers and Bears..........OH MY!

...This sounds so exciting!  We have a business near here that has a Haunted Miniature Golf, Paintball Game, and a restaurant all in one building.  It seems to be busy and it's a popular place for birthdays, too.  A set up similar to that with a dark ride as the anchor attraction would be wonderful!  The restaurant could start off as a simple burger and hot dog stand and grow into all of your haunted restaurant ideas.  This would be so cool!  Good Luck, Pete!  I can hardly wait to see it!

I don't know what to do at the moment.

Still, I haven't heard anything and I don't like that.  I'm close to retracting.

The more and more I think about it, it might not be wise for me to purchase that with all the things I have going on at the moment.

I want it, but was weighing out the costs concerning a building, props, lighting, sound and especially a fire supression system.

The cost is getting scary.

If I had a huge pole building, I could put it inside and set it up, add to it and do things little by little but in this case, all you get is the cars and track etc.

I'm going to think about it today and decide whether I'm going to keep in the mix, or back out until I can figure out what I'm doing.

My offer was "not" accepted.

He did take about 500 off the price but it's just too much for me.

So sorry to hear that Pete.

I have been looking for a Train that I can set up in my yard like

the ones you see in amusment parks. This way I could use for both

Halloween an Christmas.

I've been looking for years but any I find are way to expensive for me :(

I'm usually on usedrides.com and other sites like that looking for deals.

Speaking of that specific site, it was just revamped and I'm not fond of how it works anymore, the old system was better.

Just keep searching, you never know what you'll find.  I wish you luck.
