Who will be attending Great Lakes Fright Fest the first weekend of June?

If someone is passing through from the IL border thru 80/94 or 80/90 I'd love to tag along.

I've only attended once, but I had so much fun. You learn and do some much, plus you raise food for the hungry and needy by building and putting on the most wicked Haunted House for everyone at the Camp Ground that has a can of food to spare. And if that is not enough, they shower you with door prizes and sometimes theres campfire ghost stories with margarita chasers!

Once again I am begging my family to go... We'll see!

For more information visit http://www.greatlakesfrightfest.com/.

Cost = Camping Fees and food to share

This is great I never hear of anything good like this going on in Southern California.

If anyone has any info on any similar activities please pass it along.

All four of us will be there! This will be our first year at GLFF and we are all very excited. We are arriving Friday and staying at Totem Pole Park. I'm planning on bringing a couple of my 9 foot Demon Reapers and a few new tombstones to decorate our campsite, so PLEASE make sure you stop by, we should be easy to find. I can't wait to meet everyone!

On Saturday I'm doing a papier mache demo detailing the steps to making some of the props found on my profile page, so if you're into that, swing by.

Safe Travels,

Scott, Rhonda, Carter and Kyle

Wow! I would so be interested in seeing your demo and meeting you too!

I was hoping my son, his wife, and a grandson or two would go with me because once they did, I know they'd be hooked. You are in for such a treat... You have no idea.

Family ALWAYS backs out on the things I like to do... infact they usually end up planning something else and need ME to kid, dog and house sit.

I'll regret it so much if I miss this... like missing the last year of TW in Chicago, that I may just have to do as I did before.... Drive there for the day and leave after the haunted house. I would need some type of nap in there somewhere, as it was rough making the final stretch back home.

Maybe one of the haunted rooms will have a coffin they need occupied during the HH. If its a large one... I am your ghoul! They'd have a realistic prop and I'd get in that much needed nap! LOL

I hope to see you in a couple of weeks!

Four out of the five of us will be there all three days.  We won't be camping.  We don't own a tent.  But we are close enough to commute eact day.  This will be our first time going to GLFF.  I can't wait.  Hope you are able to get there.  Would be great to meet you face to face.

Be good,

Gail, Wally, Greg and Kyle

Fantastic! Sounds like there will be plenty on hand for the virgin sacrifices then! LOL

I do look forward to meeting all of you... I wish Pete would have the HauntSpace T's ready to make it easier to find everyone... But my first trip it didn't take long at all to start meeting up with people. I only had to make it to the the Sign-In table and state my name was BellaDonna. "BellaDonna!? I'm Witchiepoo... and then it began. I found KKrazy KKaren, Hex and other online friends in just minutes. I am sure it'll be the same. You are going to LOVE IT!
