Yup, We bought heavy nylon rope, and started from scratch. We zip-tied each rope intersection to keep things together.
We made the spider too. Several cans of expanding foam, pvc pipe, foam pipe wrap, and black exterior house paint. The spider is HUGE, but you can actually hold it up with 2 fingers. His body is basically a half-shell. 100% weather proof too!
