Dragon*Con is a huge convention in Atlanta, Georgia.  It's the last weekend in August and is unreal.  It's sci-fi and horror, so there's something for everyone.   This year they have over 373 guests and bands.  Some of the guests are:

Tickets are $90. for a 4 day pass, $75. for a 3 day pass (Sat-Mon), $50. 2 day pass (Sun-Mon), $30. for fri. only, $50. for Sat only, $3o. for sun. and $25. for mon.  Children under 7 are free.
Registration is at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, and the convention spands 3 hotels in all.  This will be my first time there and I'm really kind of excited, very hard for a corpse.  But I can't wait to see the Miss. Klingon Beauty Pagent.  Yes, I use to be a warrior.  Funny, I had more dates dressed as a Klingon then I did with out the make-up.  No remarks from Digger:  Anyway, do visit the sight and take a peek dragon*con.com.  Do have an unpleasant day.

My son's been going since he was 18 and he's 32 now.  I'm a little leary.  Me and huge places don't get along.  Not to mention, I don't do the bar thing any more.  So it's kind of like he'll be doing his thing and I'll be doing mine, ALONE.  But I'll have pics and something to discuss with the group.
