I hope that everyone has recovered from last month's Mad Lab! This month we're going to see a kinder, gentler Evil Jan. Nahhhh - just kidding! LOL
Your entry for this project will need to be posted in the August Entries thread in order to be eligible to win. Deadline is August 15. Winner will be announced on August 22.
Since we are in those critical few months prior to Halloween, and I realize that many of you have a to-do list taller then my mummy, you may feel that you don't have time to enter. Sooooooooo - we're going to twist things up a bit while still tempting you to participate.
Your mission this month, if you choose to accept it, is to find a project/tutorial online that you would like to try. There is no official SEI but you will need to find a project and put your own twist on it.
This is how this will work:
1. Pick a project for inspiration (or find a how-to)
2. Complete your project
3. Enter your project as usual but also include a pic of the inspiration/how-to project.
4. Remember - we love tutorials
The purpose of this exercise is to allow you to participate without feeling limited by the SEI and still get some of those projects finished up for this season.
There are unlimited amounts of projects on the web including my favorite www.halloweenmonsterlist.info Also, don't overlook the obvious! Many of our HauntSpace members have shared how-tos and tutorials (in and out of the Lab).
If possible let us know how long your project took and how much it cost when entering it in the contest.
