Arts & Crafts with a Spooky Twist!
Creepy Crafters is a group designed for people who love Halloween and enjoy making various arts and crafts for our favorite holiday. Maybe you aren't a talented prop builder but you can whip up a clay haunted village the likes of which you've never seen before. So you aren't very good with pnuematics but your Halloween scrapbook is the envy of all your friends. And maybe, just maybe, you have built the most awesome 3D ghost projection with motion detected sound FX and also whipped up the coolest counted cross stitch Bates Motel finger towels for the main bathroom. Well, this group is just for you!
All arts and crafts are welcome. This list is endless: paper arts, rubber stamping, painting, sewing, clay, papier mache, pen and ink, watercolor, cooking (yeah, that's an art!), whatever! If your party invitations were fabulous, we want to see them! If you made your costume and it rocked, show us! All crafty people can show off their talents here!
Sometimes we are inspired by certain artists and if you are posting pictures that is not your original artwork, please take the time and acknowledge the artist. If you made it, sign your art and be proud!!
When you are making something, take lots of pictures! Someone, I guarantee, will want to know how you made it. This is a great place to post your tutorials on your crafty creations. Remember to be detailed in the products you use and the steps involved so someone can actually recreate what you made. Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery, you know!
Last, but not least, the basic rules that govern HauntSpace will be enforced here as well. Please, no swearing, no vulgarity, no racial remarks, and no prejudice comments. Pictures should relate to arts and crafts with a Halloween theme. Please be kind to fellow artisans which means if you don't like something someone made, just keep your comments to yourself and go to the next image. It takes a lot of courage for someone to post a picture of something they've made and art is very subjective. Everyone play nice, don't eat the glue and don't run with scissors!
Now go! Create! Time is of the essence!
