Some fiction. Most historical non fiction. I'm a history buff, and love to read a well written history novel. Alison Weir is one of my all-time favorite history authors. General non-fiction--politics, social behavior, child development, religion, pop culture. Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation thrilled me. Classic literature: British lit from the medieval era forward. Shakespeare, Chaucer, Byron, Beowulf, the Shelleys, Milton. Horror literature: Stephen King, Clive Barker, Anne Rice. Some poetry: e.e. cummings, beat poets. Well written non-exploitative biographies. Some children's/young adult literature (a job necessity):Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Junie B Jones

Are you for real with this question? Did I fall into some 70's Playboy wormhole?

Being asked what my turn on's and turn off's are.

I like music. I'd say love, but it's not appropriate for inanimate objects.
I love my husband.
I love Halloween--that's when I married my husband. Give me October, pumpkins, witches and candy.
I like people who are not tools.
Hail Satan.
I try to play guitar well, and when I cannot play well, I play loud. I like to play Johnny Cash on the uke.
I got a Masters in english lit, and then realized it was unusable, but was still proud of the accomplishment.
If I had to live without an iPod, it would be a hollow life.
I piss people off frequently because my concern with how people see me and feel about me has wasted away to almost nothing. I spent a lotta years worrying about what people might think. Not anymore.
I want to tattoo this on the heads of people sometimes: "GET OVER YOURSELF."
I don't need anger management. I manage to be angry just fine without help.
