An ad from Oriental Trading Company hit my email box this morning and it says there's only 34 days left til Christmas! This is the time of year where we all get busy with family, parties and shopping and the time seems to slide by.
Aren't we lucky we have our Halloween prop making to help cut the cavity-inducing sweetness of all the music and trappings in the stores and on the telly?

Hello all. I apologize in advance for not having pics yet, but the idea struck me today and I had to share it. I thought of a way to make rust on your props without having to paint it on. I searched Google Images for "rust" and came up with a lot of hits. What you do is if you have a paint editing program, like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, you can import the rust image, carefully crop out everything but the rust spots and then print these out and glue them onto your cemetery fence or anythi... i got the yard picked up today! been putting it off as far as the big stuff. i'm thinking of downsizing the yard display next year.going to change up some things. oh,i was gave a 4ft pumpkin w ghost inflateble from work yesterday. they were to raffle it away during the holiday but forgot about it.so they gave the halloween nut the thing! its a hershey candy promotion.i might put it in my grandmothers yard next year.kinda aggravated also.last yr i gave several people and neighbors some halloween...   This Photo of the barn I posted is the sole surviving structure of the homestead of John McNeil, the town blacksmith. His house used to stand where we will be placing the Arviso House, and was unfortunately demolished before we bought the land.  It was in this small barn that was set into motion events that would lead to the conviction of McNeil for murder of his wife Melva C.
