a couple of weeks ago, Danny put together a box as the base for our HellRaiser-inspired Pillar of Pain. it's just a 1/4 inch plywood rectangular box that will hang and spin slowly. i painted it black, and hadn't done anything else to. all that changed today. i had to get up-and-going early (Josh had photo day for the football team at school early) so i dropped him off, and went to the shop to work. this morning was spent carving leftover bones and skinning them with pantyhose. I'm working on ideas for The Frightmare Forest Spook trail this year. Somebody said that chainsaws are over-done, but when you live in an area where they haven't had much Halloween stuff, besides trick-or-treating, for years it's not over-done at all. Dagon played Leatherface last year and scared some people pretty badly. One chick freaked so bad that he had to take the mask off and talk to her and show her the chainsaw didn't have it's teeth. some of yall know from chat that my parents are elderly and have decided to fill their in-ground swimming pool with dirt. they couldn't keep it up any longer and it was becoming a mosquito pit. so yesterday, my Dad was in the yard so i walked over to talk to him, and he said he was going to take down the pump house too. he said i could have it if i wanted. it is pretty good sized, about 6 feet square, but only 5 feet tall.
