Slight set back on hearse progress
Posted On 04/26/2008 21:13:54 by PAHalloweenFreak

Well, had alot of running around this morning so I didn't get to work too much on the hearse today.  I did start cutting the 3rd wheel and was almost done when the plywood (thinnner than the stuff used for the rear wheels) splintered and lost about 3 of the 4 layers in one spot.  So needless to say, I can't use that one at this point.  I will have to go with the thicker plywood I used for the rear wheels and start all over on it.  Looking at the areas that are cut, the plywood is definitely defective - one of the layers is pretty much missing in alot of areas.  Tomorrow I may just concentrate on either sanding what I have done, the supports or the horse.  Here it is up on the supports that I had cut.  I put it up and put the one wheel on to see what it will look like.

Sorry about the setback, but this is an extremely cool prop!
