Funny how we all think alike.....yes my sis is the best..and yes dolls are inanimate, they have no feelings...or atleast I hope not and I did think about putting a pic in her mailbox!!! But, I don't want this woman to know I have her little precious......and I will probably love them more as Halloween props than they ever were before and you're right....if they were so well loved...why are you selling them....and another thing...this woman scared me just a little......so I don't want to let her know where I live....I'm afraid she might picket my haunt and ruin it for the rest who love and appreciate a good, clean scare!

I've been going to a few garage sales searching for babydolls for my new haunt feature this year. I feel guilty buying them without telling what I have planned for them.

The usual response is laughter and questions like...."Where's your haunt?" "Can we come see?" They love it! HOWEVER!!!!......yesterday I went to a sale and I stated the usual...."I run a Halloween haunt.....I'm buying these dolls to zombify, so these dolls will scare the kids this Halloween." And I say this with a friendly smile and in a joking manner.......well she smiled back, BUT as I picked up one of the dolls she stated.......
           "If that's what your gonna do to those dolls, I'm not gonna sell them to you.....they were well loved."

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT.!!...well I can go on analyzing that woman, but I have something even better!!    I walked away quietly, got into my vehicle and called my sister to tell her what had happened....she decided to go shopping at the same house and along with some other items...she got me the dolls!!!!!!! WooHoo..take that you Halloween Hater!!!!!

I'm very excited!!! Tonight on Ghost Hunters a local landmark will be featured.....the Red Mill in Clinton NJ...been there many times....it's a great place and a great town to walk around..some really nice places to sit down and have lunch...I've heard the Mill is haunted...they actually run a haunt on the property in October....I don't think it's the main feature tonight, but it'll be great to see what the TAPS members think of this historical landmark.

OK...it's only May!!!!! So why am I already having my Halloween nightmare?? I've written about them before, only it usually happens much closer to our glorious holiday. It's always the same thing....it's the day of Halloween and I have nothing set up....everyone around me is so calm about it, while I'm freaking out. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE NIGHTMARES LIKE THIS??? I have a feeling it's my body's way if giving me a kick-start....I always wait till the end of the summer to start prop building. My intentions are always to start Feb/Mar, but once again I have not done so. I have some small projects just sitting around STARING at me...literally...the dollies.....so creepy.....not to mention all my other BIG plans. I guess I procrastinate a little too often....hmmmm...ok...that's it, I'll start this weekend!!!!!

Hey friends...just a quick question..I know many of you can offer me advice. I'm planning a scary doll feature for 2008 and I've already scored some creepy babydolls at garage sales....what kind of paint do YOU use to convert the "babies" into zombies? I'm assuming craft paint (thinned out acrylic) would be fine, but will that flake off easy? Any advice would be appreciated by this ghoul.....THANX.......AMY

If you don't love ZOMBIES...you will after watching this movie......it is truly a sweet story...yes about zombies....a boy named Timmy and his zombie he names Fido. Funny, sweet and heartwarming. Yes I said heartwarming. And the movie title is simply "FIDO".

Ok so it was a little challenging meeting Bruce Campbell today...a couple of hours+ on line and most of that time outside in dreary, chilly weather, but baby he was worth it. I had a quick, silly/flirty chat with him. We had a few moments of fun together.....much to my surprise when it came time for me to approach him....I did not get weak in the knees. He was so warm and welcoming, I could not help but be that way back to him....I love him even more now!!! And boy is he still handsome...woohoo.......

Getting ready to head off to Monster Mania....meeting my B-Horror Hero....Bruce Campbell......my knees are starting to feel a little weak.
