NYC, South Street Seaport...THE BODIES...it was a great exhibit....if it comes around to your area, I highly recommend it....it was absolutley amazing to see the dissection and preservation of real human bodies displayed like works of art.......like sculptures.
Going to NYC today to see THE BODIES exhibit......I'll let you know how much fun I had later tonight!!!! xoxo to my HS Family
Hey HS family...for those of you who enjoy watching Ghost Hunters or Most Haunted....I thought you'd be interested in an upcoming show on A&E called Paranormal State...premiers Dec.10th at 10pm eastern......check out the website...looks like it might be good.......
This is a tribute to my friend/coworker's son ALEX. He works next to a holiday/party store and was throwing something into the dumpster behind the stores......and what he saw made him think of me....hmmmmm...that didn't sound right! Well he discovered a bounty of "damaged" merchandise thrown into the dumpster, fortunately right on top and knew I just had to have it....the pic in my gallery shows some of the goodies, but I also have a few more items that I already packed away for next year....all I can say is GOOD work Alex......I bet all my HauntSpace friends wish they had a connection like you.

Hey HS family...I didn't log in for a couple of weeks because Halloween 2007 left me with no time to do any typing....I have been peeking at the gallery though when I've had a chance....looks like everyone had a successful holiday! I'll be updating my profile soon and will add some new pics to the gallery....all I can say is Halloween night at my house was CRAZY! In a good way that is.....ciao for now.....
This past weekend my hubby and I ventured into Philly for the King Tut exhibit.....some cool stuff there, however what really blew my mind was the other exhibit we visited at the Mutter Museum........It is a must see for any of you close to Philadelphia...it is Halloween extreme!!!!! The museum is open year round...not a huge place, but a whole lot to see....including hundreds of skulls.....skeletons with and without dried flesh........the Soap Lady and a gangreen( Spelled right??) hand....an image is just can't shake....Warning though....there is a large section of fetal remains I wasn't prepared for, but I took away some knowledge from that part of the exhibit......check it out...P.S. My favorite part was the soap lady....she was/is amazing!!!
Wow..do I procrastinate or what...I had every intention of starting somewhere around March for prop building.....soooo many plans......well it's August already...Halloween is just around the corner! I finally did something substantial today....and I feel good! I cut out 9 new headstones and made the chicken wire frame for the SPOOKY TREE I'm adding to this year's yard haunt....I'm getting so excited already!...I realize I'm not going to get everything done for this year, but there's always 2008 right?? Honestly it's not all my fault...even now I have so many weekend events coming up I'll have to actually schedule prop building time...anybody else feeling my pain??
