Almost finished with witch #2 (#3 to follow very soon) I've posted a couple pics in my gallery, but here's a link to what I've got so far: http://picasaweb.google.com/MMcKeon5958/Witch2
There's a good chance I may change her color, but I have a few ideas to try out first... it doesn't show in the photos, but her color is a little bit on the bright side, almost lime green! then again, that might not be a bad thing...

So.... i stop in at the local Goodwill, head directly to the electronics/lamp department and lo and behold! there it was.... so i grabbed it... yep... paid all of $2.99 for it.... Got it home and discovered that the adapter that was in the box wasn't the right one, but after some frantic searching around the house I found one that worked... and, well, it worked! it's really cool.... it has a sound activated mode so that it lights up when there is a noise... anyway... woo hoo!!! murray
Well, the witch is just about complete... all I really have left to do is seal her real well and add some hair...

This has turned out way better than I ever thought (although she looks a lot like a male right now, I'm hoping with hair and a hat that will change)... Now maybe I can get back to working on Vinnie the vulture!

So I was at WalMart the other day, in the craft section and of course had to go down the fake flower aisle. Well my prop making buddy David (Spelar) was with me and he spotted these "fuzzy things" and, well, you'll just have to check it out:

added more pics.... plodding along slowly but surely... I'm a little unsure about how the legs are going to turn out, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. The upside is that papier mache is so forgiving.. if you make a mistake or don't like how something looks, you just cut it off and start over!!
