Oh yeah... How-to pages
Posted On 07/21/2006 17:02:44
I was working on my tombstone carving how-to page yesterday: http://mov.dx.cx/halloween/carving/. Its almost ready. I just kinda dislike the pictures in between the text. I might have to do more multi column stuff to make it look better.

Let me know if you have any comments.

Waiting and Hostpitals suck
Posted On 07/21/2006 16:59:27
So why is it that hospitals make you wait for so long? They know how long it takes for someone to be prepped for surgery. They know how long surgery is going to take. Still they are off by hours when it comes to stuff like this.

My wife had to be in at 9:30-10 and surgery at 11:30... 2pm is when she finally rolled into the OR. She's still in, I'm at home quickly eating some lunch before they call me that she is ready and out.

I hate waiting and being alone. Yes, the kiddo is at a friends place having fun with their kids.

Weird days ahead...

I'm dreading tomorrow already: bring the Buick to the shop, bring the kiddo to a friend for babysitting. To top it off I've got to drop the wife off at the hospital at 10am so they can remove the kidney stone that won't pass on its own. Hopefully she'll have no big problems or pain afterwards so I can still make it to the Fremont festivities on saturday and not feel guilty. The SO now even wants to come since she won't be able to work for sure. Which is nice, but not sure how her pain is going to be throughout the day. Again, what more can I wish for: a wife that tells me to go while there is a big chance she will be in pain... I'm torn...

From the looks of it, sunday a friend will come over. Perhaps, she'll fly into Oakland instead Sacramento. That would be sweet: we'd spend the night in the bay area, go to the aquarium in Moneterey in the morning and on the way back pick her up.

This friend also wants me to show her how to make tombstones from styrofoam: no problem :) I'll be glad to spread the Keeba method of being creative and saving money around the country.

Off to read work related emails and have dinner. TV dinner.... Not sure how I feel about this one right now... Salsburry steak...

Mandatory 'First blog entry'...
Posted On 07/19/2006 22:35:27
Guess if I am starting a blog and a MySpace type page I just as well might do it on here instead of where the masses go. I'd have to say to the masses: "Go Away! The Internet is full!".

Time to ponder if I should still go to the NorCal XII meeting this saturday or not now that my wife will get her kidney stone removed on friday.

Hard to leave her alone an entire day like that, even though she said she wants me to go anyways so she can rest.... What to do, what to do....
