Friday, going out to my party location, scraping up some friends.
As a ritual, a houseful will be staying the night.
We'll be cutting firewood, decorating and setting up the event for Saturday the 27th.
It's a great time, even the night before, like always it goes too fast. I always recall sitting there the night before, having a blast, knowing that it's going to end.
Like other true Haunters, I've spend countless hours looking at props and decor, and spent the last few days viewing websites and such.
Saturday, we anticipate 100 guests, hopefully we'll have enough wood for the bonfire and have enough for heating the house.
This year, the FCG room will have a laser effect, I'm very excited to get this going so I can see the results.
The party will be on our 104 acre spread in the deep wooded areas of our County.
Once you're out there, it's all business.
The smell of the air, the decayed leaves crackling as you walk upon them, the smell of the wooden burn is completely awesome and accents the occasion.
The nice thing, is that I'll once again feel the gratitude of making a bunch of adults and kids happy and hopefully embed something in their minds that they'll always remember, and remember me for it.
Back in time, I can remember those that made my passions what they are today.
I can honestly feel a sense of togetherness with those that enjoy the season as I do.
I hope that everyone has a completely awesome 2007 season, I wish I had the opportunity to visit everyone's parties, decor and Haunts to enjoy them, as much as I enjoy mine.
