So I started calling around today to find out when other places are getting there Lemax things.  Michaels isn't carrying some of the new pieces and I was told that Lowes and Sears carries these things too...

So, when I called Lowes, they said they weren't sure if they were gonna carry Lemax this year, but they are expecting all of the Halloween stuff any day now.  I know they've got a few generic pumkins etc... but not much right now.

When I called Sears, they said they will carry Lemax, but not until the first or second week of September.  I laughed and told them they were WAY behind. 

Still, this is good news for those of us who are waiting for the stores to get the important stuff.  Anyone know if Hallmark finally got their stuff?

Ok so I made, what was supposed to be a short stop at the Dollar Tree this morning before work to see if the Halloween stuff was out.  Of course it wasn't.  BUT I took matters into my own hand and marched up to the manager and asked about it.  She proceeded to walk me into the back and open all the boxes she had and let me take my pick!!!!

The skellies are ok, I'll have to paint them a bit to make them look less "dollar store"-ish.  They got these heavy cement gargoyles that are worth a buck for sure!!  Plus they also have some small cement tombstones and skull garland that really isn't to bad!  The skellie garland doesn't look to bad either.

 The manager said get your stuff early cuz they never know how much they will get.  I'll be going back pretty soon to get a few more things!!!

Where are we at with the shirts?  Coming along nicely I hope.  Any time frame idea?  Please don't take that as pressure, I'm just... itchy -- for my shirt that is....

I went to my local Halloweenmart today and I asked the boys working there if they were on HS and they looked at me crazy and said "No, I'm on Myspace"  I laughed, wrote down the website and told them if they were serious Halloween lovers, enough to work in a year round Halloween shop, then they needed to be on this site.  So, hopefully I recruited new blood today..  YAY!

I was at Hallmark yesterday to get a few things for my god daughter and you'll NEVER guess what's "being revealed" on Saturday.  The CHRISTMAS ornaments are out!  I realize that there are, for some weird reason, people who are Christmas crazy(LOL) but come on!  I asked the girl at the register when the Halloween things was coming out and she said "Oh, we'll get that stuff pretty soon".
I'm almost positive that Christmas stuff in July BEFORE Halloween stuff is a sign of the apocolypse!

So I went to Michaels today and FINALLY they have some Lemax and other little Halloween decos out.  I am SO EXCITED!  There are some super cute things this year.  And I asked the lady at the register if more was coming and she looked at me sideways and said "You're the one that called me" I said "No, I'm the one that's been in here every week since May."  She laughed and said we only just got this stuff last Friday and there will be more!!

So, it has begun.  I got a couple of small pieces cuz I'm not foolish enough to buy them at full price.

However, if NeoDreams happens to read this(or anyone else who deals in Lemax) could answer a question.  There are 2 pieces that don't seem to be out yet and I wonder if they are only sold in certian places.  I'm looking for "The Butcher Shop" and "Frank's Salon".  ANy ideas??

I know everyone comes here and says "Oh it must be so awesome to live in Vegas" blah, blah blah...

I went to Michaels cuz I really want to get started already on my Lemax village, and in true Vegas style, they haven't got SQUAT out yet.

What are we waiting for????!!!!!
