Update on ME
Posted On 02/14/2008 14:20:12
Life's a Bi*ch! But oh well. I don't want to air dirty laundry, but I want to give everyone an update on my weird life. My husband and I are separated. I'm in the Atlanta area-ish. I'm staying with friends who have graciously opened their home to me and 2 of my children. My bonded partner is staying with me as much as possible. But my husband threw me out or I left, take your pick. It works out the same way. I can't take anymore of the abuse and degrading. But enough, I just wanted to let everyone know that I was no longer with him and I am OK! I will be getting a divorce just not sure when that will happen. I don't have the money, and neither does he. But I'm happy and safe with my kids and that is what matters. Thank you all for the support you've shown me...Oh and my seizures will be getting better now too. Well they should be, because we figured out that they are stress related. And since I no longer am in such a stressful mess, I shouldn't have so many!

Update on EVERYTHING
Posted On 01/18/2008 21:15:52
Well....that's a deep subject.....ha ha ha....anyway. My health is about the same. They are still running tests. I'm waiting on the "big one". They will be putting me in the hospital for 3 days and hooking me up to an ambulatory EEG machine. So I get to walk around for 3 days in the hospital with wires sticking out of my head and everywhere else and see if they can't catch one of my seizures on it or on film. LOL and on the home front my husband and I are getting along. But not much has changed. We are dealing with our issues. One of our sons has moved out, the 17 year old. He decided that he didn't like living at home anymore. Our 18 year old daughter moved out last September so now we just have our 2 younger sons at home to deal with. Which I think is better. less stress for us and more time to deal with our problems. That's about it. We are trying to make everything work out. Just wanted to update everyone and say hi to all my friends here. Thank you for your support.

Update On Everything
Posted On 11/10/2007 05:23:56

This is the first chance I've had to let everyone know what is going on with me medically and family-wise, and Halloween-wise. Where to begin?

Well...I didn't get Halloween. I didn't even get to set anything up for Halloween. My health issues started the problem. They had changed my medications and I became extrememly sick. So I spent the better part of the 2 days prior to Halloween puking. LOL I would have made a great prop for the haunt. Well then on Halloween my husband lost his marbles, quite literally. I'm not trying to air family problems, but the more people that know, the better his healing process can be. He told me to be out before he got home or he would throw me out (through the door with it closed). My husband has always been a bit of a violent man, and I'm very passive, so I cried and said goodbye to my children and left. I knew he wouldn't harm them. My friend who was here to help me with the haunt got me out of my home. My husband attempted suicide that night, but didn't succeed. Then tried again and almost succeeded on that Friday. They locked him up.

The only good thing that came out of all that on Halloween was - I got a 300 mile ride in a '73 Cadillac Superior Hearse. But my kids are safe. I sent them to live with my sister in Florida and now my husband is home and doing a lot better. He's made major progress. He's realized he has problems and is getting help.

Thank you for reading. I'm sorry for airing all this but I wanted everyone to know where I've been. I'm ok, well my health is still unstable, they haven't figured out my seizures yet, but my family is getting better. My Halloween sucked. But next year will be better. I'm glad everyone else seemed to have a good Halloween.

Still having issues
Posted On 09/18/2007 13:12:51
Just giving an update on my absence. I probably won't be around much. I'm still having health issues. My seizures are getting worse and they aren't sure why. I'm going back and forth to the doctors. So we'll see what they come up with. So my Halloween is not looking promising now. But I will be checking in now and then.

Haunt Ideas
Posted On 09/02/2007 21:22:53
Was working out some ideas for the haunt this year last evening. Threw the ideas around in Susan's chat. My hearse won't be finished so we are going to "crash" it into a tree and pull the casket out of the backend and put one of the animatronic zombies in it. And put one of them in the drivers seat. Should look pretty cool. One of my friends who is in the hearse club too is bringing his hearse down too. So we'll have his hearse out front too. His has a siren and fog machine in it. Oh his also has a full size casket too. So we've decided to do an outside haunt this year. We have a large open area near the house with quite a few trees to work with. Now as long as my medical issues cooperate things should be fine. Just felt like writing this out.

Computer Crash Other Issues
Posted On 09/01/2007 20:31:45

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my absence. My computer did a major crash......The motherboard and harddrive crashed. The harddrive was even sent back to the factory and it had heated up so badly that it had cracked all 3 discs in it. LOL So there was no retrieving anything off of it. That has kept me off for a little bit, trying to find all of my sites again.... Then there has been some medical issues for me as well. I am going to be undergoing some testing to determine if I have epilepsy. I've had what I've called tremors for years but the doctor never paid any attention to me when I mentioned them. Well I had a major episode and mentioned it to the right doctor and he insisted that I speak to my primary about it. So now they believe that they are seizures not tremors. This has been a real cold dose of reality on my life. Just wanted to let everyone know. I should be back on. Just not very often for a while. Thanks for listening.

Received My Prize
Posted On 07/11/2007 09:23:07
My Wii is here! It finally arrived! Party time! I had just had dental surgery Monday and wasn't feeling well at all. And next thing I know there is a knock and the DHL lady is handing me this huge box. The Wii is tiny, but it was packed in this giant box. So I set it up and we've been playing Mortal Kombat:Armaggedon, and we went and bought Mario Party 8. Plus it came with Wii Sports. Some of the characters you can make in Mortal Kombat would make great Halloween creatures. One of them I'm going to use as a pattern for my costume this year! LOL Just thought everyone would get a kick out of this!

I won something
Posted On 06/22/2007 15:29:51
I'm so excited. I never win anything. I know this isn't really haunt related. But I had to tell people. I'm silly I know. I've been watching a channel G4TV, the program called FreeStuff. It was on at 10pm, now it is on at 6:30 and 10pm. Well anyway every night they show tech stuff like remote control cars, digital cameras, ipod docks, xbox 360, Wii, psp, stuff like that. Cool stuff. Then during the commercials they show codes that you have to input on the computer before they come back from commercial. At the end of the show they show the winners. On the 15th, I saw my name. They put the first name, the first initial of the last name, and the state of the winner. Everyone kept telling me it couldn't be me. I said it had to be me. I even went to the trouble of looking up every Misty P in Georgia. Well two letter P combination. Pa, Pb, Pc, etc. There are less than 75. So I figured I had a good chance it was me. Anyway. It takes 3 business days to get your email to let you know if you are the winner or not. I got my email on Wednesday the 20th. I sent my paperwork back by email and got a confirmation back. I won a Wii with Mortal Kombat-Armageddon. I've never won anything like that before. I've only ever won maybe $5 on a scratch off ticket or something. I'm walking on clouds waiting on this to get here. I hope you all don't mind me putting this on here I just had to tell someone/people. I'm so excited.

MonsterBash
Posted On 06/05/2007 18:05:16

Oh boy. I'm in such a good mood. My husband surprised me. He took me to MonsterBash in Atlanta as a belated Anniversary present. Well not quite a surprise but still. We had a blast. There were over 20 some hearses there and quite a few pro cars. We met some really nice people. Hearse people. We've already started plans for next year. And we made some contacts about parts for my hearse. So it was a great adventure. There was the typical drama that could be expected from a group getting together. Old boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. But still not a bad weekend. The bands were great. The characters from Netherworld were there running around. There were professional photographers going around putting models in cars and snapping pictures. It was great. The movies were classics. But most of all the people were the best. We're going next year with my hearse!

Here's my pics. They aren't very good. There are a couple that little eyes maybe shouldn't see. Some of the ladies didn't wear much. They are loaded backward. I wasn't paying attention.
