My Anniversary
Posted On 05/21/2007 18:48:13
Just sitting here listening to spooky stuff. Thinking about my marriage. We've been together today 19 years. Not a bad length of time. We haven't killed each other, we've tried. LOL We've had our ups and downs, as every marriage does. He loves me. It's not every day you find a guy that will buy you a hearse for Valentine's day and a casket for no apparent reason other than to go with the hearse. hehehe I've rubbed off on him pretty good. He's starting to enjoy my spooky stuff now. It's nice. Still can't get him to dress up yet, but I'm working on him. Just wanted to put this down on "paper" while I was still feeling sober. LOL

More Haunting Stuff

WooHoo Guess what my hubby found for me? He was working the other day near a junkyard (doing his job not goofing off) and he noticed a casket in a debris pile in the junkyard. When one of the junkyard workers walked past he asked the guy about it. The guy said he could have it for 10 cents a pound. But he was flabbergasted that he would want it. They got to talking and this makes me sad. The guy said they had a hearse in there 2 days before this and get this. It was a perfect match for my hearse. They crushed it! I could have gotten the quarter panel I need and the back door. I wanted to scream so bad. Anyway I got the casket for $15. I just need to clean it up a bit. It has all the bedding including the spring bed and pillow. It has a couple small dents but we can pop those out and I'll put a shine on it with turtlewax. Great find. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h165/mpoff6/DSCF3755.jpg

Working on Hearse
Posted On 03/30/2007 22:09:26
Just doing some small stuff. Laying out the curtains. Need to remake them completely. The old ones have completely deteriorated. Hopefully we're going to get the quarter panel next weekend. And start installing the new parts. We want to attend Monster Bash in Atlanta in June so we have to work quick and hard and get it done nicely. I can't wait to go. I'm excited.

that is the home link to the page. but you can just surf around the site it is really neat. they have quite a few bulk type lights. 150 foot lengths of tube lights. great if you want those instead of the regular c-7 type bulbs, etc.

My Hearse
Posted On 03/05/2007 19:29:33
I'm pretty happy. We went down to St. Mary's and met the lady we bought the hearse from. Aprylla. She is really the nicest lady in the world. I told her about HauntSpace and she joined it a little while ago. Cool. Anyway. The only down part was that there was some confusion with the transport company and they didn't pick it up today. So they are supposed to pick the car up tomorrow. Then it should be here with me Wednesday. I can't wait to start work on it. Aprylla and her dad were the greatest. I owe them a lot. They did a lot. He had it all tarped and ready for transport. All the pieces are tied down secured and ready. It is all prepared for me to work on it. I feel so bad that she was selling it. But I understand she needed to because she was moving to Atlanta. I'm going to send her pictures as we work on it. I'm so excited. Thanks for reading.

Cool Halloween Links Paper Folding

The first one is just Halloween type stuff. Really cool. All paper folding. Print it out, cut and fold. Neat.

The second one, if you go to it, go to the section - holidays, then go to Halloween. There are a couple little things. They are all paper folding too. Print, cut, fold. If you are really talented you could try some of the motorcycles. I'm not that good yet. I've tried some of these but haven't attempted one of those. Hope you like these. I've had fun doing them from both sights.

Sensitive to Spirits
Posted On 02/17/2007 22:40:55
I'm sensing dead people. No pun intended. I've always been sensitive to the spirit world. I've been able to feel their presence in some form, either by smells, orbs, vapors, shadows, full body outlines, whatever. I've always been able to tell there was something or someone there when they wanted their presence known to me. Well this evening I started smelling cigarette smoke (we don't/can't smoke) so I knew something was visiting and told my husband we had a visitor. He got all huffy with me. Usually he is pretty nice about it but tonight he was just huffy. It upset me. I've kept him out of harms way before because of my ability. I just wish he wouldn't be so negative about this sometimes. He accepts everything else. He always has. I don't understand. Somedays he's fine with everything and other days nothing is fine. 19 years you'd think I would figure it out.

Superstitious stupid people

I am pissed. I told someone I was finally getting my hearse. Something I ahve dreamed about all my life. Sounds silly I know. I've never fit in. Always the odd child. Weird kid. Unusual. Square peg in a round hole type. Anyway you get the picture. They said "well you shouldn't mess around with that stuff. It's for dead people", "You are messing with things you shouldn't be touching" ????? What the F...? I don't get it. It's a car. Yeah it carries dead people but it is a sign of respect. I'm at least showing it respect not the guy who was going to put it in a demo derby. I was so upset I was crying by the time I got back to the house. I love this car and haven't even touched it or actually seen it in person yet. I don't understand how people can be that way. I want to drive this car every day that's how proud I am to own it. It's so similar to the idiots that emailed me about dying the wedding dresses black when I was selling them on ebay. They said I was turning something pure into something evil. Oh get a life. Its a gown. Most women aren't even virgins anymore when they get married. White is just a symbol. A hearse is just a symbol too. Basically it is the only thing big and strong enough to carry your fat bloated body to the cemetary. I'm sure you wouldn't want to give all your friends hernias by having to carry you 5 miles from the funeral home to the cemetary in a casket weighing (including you) over 800 pounds (average weight). I want a horse drawn hearse to take me to my grave and I want everyone to party. I don't want anyone to be morbid and depressed. Yeah, I died, but get over it, I'm gone now live your life for crying out loud.

Figuring things out
Posted On 02/09/2007 13:48:24
Ok I just wanted to say Hi and Thank you for the wonderful welcome. I really love it here. I'm still figuring out how to send all those neat little pictures to people, so don't get mad when they show up funny. I get the copy and paste part right it's the rest I screw up. Somehow I don't get it right. I try to put too much in I think. Sometimes it works great then other times I can't even get a simple pumpkin to show up. Oh well. I can sew a costume in a week, I can clean a house top to bottom in a day, I can program a complicated stereo/tv system but can't figure out how to send little dancing pumpkins, go figure. Well thanks again for the warm welcome.
