I'm just getting ready to run some gowns through. That sounds bad. I want to dye some more black. I'd like to try this other cranberry color too. The wine color turned out ok. I'm getting tired of people sending me emails complaining that I'm turning something pure into something evil. When I sold the first couple gowns on ebay I got some really nasty emails. I sent some back saying if they didn't like it not to look.

What was up with these people? Women didn't always get married in white. Anyway. I love doing the vintage ones. I can pick up some wonderful old gowns for nothing and dye them and sell them for a good bit. Let me know what you all think. Take a look at my gallery, those are some of my gowns that I've done.
Ok. I decided I better explain my haunt. The pictures are out of order in my gallery so I figured I better explain it a little. It was 'titled' 'The Rest-aurant'. Ok I know kind of corny. not much of a title.
As you enter the 'back' doors (which were actually the front doors) you are actually entering the kitchen area. We decided to set it up backward like you were being snuck in the back way and thats how we treated our guests. We told them we were sneeking them in the back way so the owner didn't see them and we could get them a good table. You see Dracula our dishwasher doing the dishes in the kitchen to your right and on the counter you see a large praying mantis handing him some small bone pieces out of a small coffin to put down the disposal. Behind the sink is a really cool fountain. It is a skull with fangs and it has little skulls in the mouth. The eye rolls when the blood flows up under it and comes out of the little skulls mouths inside. As you pass the kitchen in front of you there is a trio of priate skulls on a kids table singing priate songs. All to your left it is curtained off so you can't see into the main room. As you turn to the left there is a table set up with a bat fountain dripping blood. It has a red light in it too. Really nice. It has 'appetizers' on the table too. Those are bones, ears, fingers, etc. in a cauldron. Ahead on the right is another table that is taken by a skeleton. It has a bone pile fountain with blood dripping. It has appetizers in a cauldron too. And it has a skull candlabra too. As you keep turning straight to the left (you've made a u-turn) there is a long conference type table to the right. At the end is Chester. He rips his chest open as you pass and his heart beats and he tips his head back and screams at you. There is a beating heart on the plate in front of him, wine glass of eyes, napkin, etc. Everything nice and neat. appetizers too. Rats come next, ones dead the other is chewing on a bone. Cauldron of bones. Skull candlabra. Appetizer tray full of goodies. Fingers, ears, bugs, spinal bones, etc. Next is momma spider feeding her young ones. Behind the table is the serving wench/witch. Her tray is on the table. There at the end of the table seated are two skeletons that haven't gotten enough to eat obviously. To your left hanging above you is a giant and I do mean giant Bat. His wing span is about 8 feet. His eyes blink red. There are several dozen little ones with him. His body is about 3 feet around. A little further ahead on the left is a giant spider web from floor to ceiling about 8 feet across with a human size cocoon in the middle. At the top is a giant spider. Daddy is spinning his web around his dinner. Turn right now around the end of the table. To the left you see the zombie garden on the floor. One crawls at your feet. The other lifts his head in greeting for you. You follow the hostess around the table toward your table, so you think, only to find that the table is occupied by a ghost conference. Ahead you see ghosts hoovering over the table and several skulls on the table. Your hostess says you'd better leave. So you exit through the 'front' doors. There you are 'greeted' by the 'hostess' and given a 'treat' and told 'I hope you enjoyed your meal, thank you for coming' You make a run for it around the building back to where you came in at. LOL. Hope all this makes sense.
