Not only is the base complete but the whole village is finished. (Happy dance, whoo yhoo!).  I posted all the pics ( sorry went a little crazy with the camera so there is a LOT of pics) and they are all in my gallery. Check it out. Now on a less happy note, one of the village pieces I made earlier, Black Moon High School, didn't make it. While the base is sound the facing didn't make it .       That's all for now. Later

The base for my village is finally finally finally done!!!!!  Omg, I thought this thing would never get finished. By the time Ifinished this thing I was soooo sick of it. There was nothing but problems from start to finish with this thing. What shape? What size? What building materials? What colors? Too light or too darks. AUGH!!! O.k., I'm finished venting . After all is said and done I really like how I came out. Ijust wish I took step by step pictures of the progress. I got so wrapped up in just getting the stupid thing done that I forgot the pics.  But I do have after photos. We figure that we hould be able to use the base for at least two years and still have room for new pecies from nexts years collection. I don't know what we'll do after We can't make it any bigger. If you've be to my gallery  there is a picture there that shows a couch and my dog lucky. That pic is the  is the full room shot for my livingroom . My livingroom is only 7 feet wide. I guess that just   means we'll have to move into a bigger house to fit the village. Now it's time for pics.

We decorated our house today and it looks like a spider wed factory exploded in it ,And I love it. : ) I'm not even going to post pictures till Halloween cause  everyhing will get rearanged between now and then. While we did get a lot done to day we are no where near finished.Hopefully ( fingures crossed) everything in house will we done by the end of this week ,hopefully. Maybe my hands will even return to theire original skin color  now that I'll won't be  painting  so much. I swear I have spray painted my hands black at least twice a day this month. After we're finished with the  inside that will leave just two project left to finish and then I'm done. I have been on such a creative high this year and have made ( what I think ) some  of the best stuff that I have ever made and I think that is because of all of you. Seeing all of the great stuff the people of Hanutspace has made/created/bought has feed my own creativity . So I just  want to say thanks tons. You guys are the best!

After taking a mini halloween free  vaction to recherge my creative jucies I'm finishing projects left and right. Unfortunatly none of the projects I've done were on The List. I've made a wind chime, a new project folder( my old was so over stuffed the binder teeth kept poping open.), a spell book and some wall art for the house.We have also just started decorating the house. I put up shelves  in the livingroom and put up my witch's bottles.Everything is comming out better than what I pictured in my head. The only thing that is giving me growing pains is the base for my village.(growl of aggravation)Is thing has had three diffeent base form shapes , multible  material bases , stryofoam, chicken wire and plywood, and spray foam are just a few thing we thought we make it out of. Add a mountain or have a train  or both? Or none of the above ? This is why I took the mini vaction, so I didn't throw the stupid thing out the window.After a week of still not knowing what I was going to do with it I went back to the origninal plan and   just took some blocks of stryofoam and started craving. It is coming out ok but won't be done by the time we put up the rest of the house.( We're decorating the inside tomorrow ) I'll be posting  pixs soon . Bye

My mud monster is finally done. When I first saw this project on Monster List it got me in the haunting mood. I couldn't wait to get started on him now he is all done.   I wanted him to be animated but I dont have the skills yet to animate a prop myself so I got one at Michaels.  The only problem is the skull is small for the body. I have him hanging behind the front door where he can greet guest  as they come in. He can even hold peoples hats for them.

So far on every project I have worked on I have bled on the thing. Do you thing this is a good or bad omen. Or will it work like a spell and make all the porps come to life on their own and help save on the electric and battery bill. I dont know . If they did come to life would the worship me as their creator or eat me when I sleep for desturbing their rest. On another note, I have had a devil of a time getting wire hangers . No body sells them any more.Even the laundry mats don't have any , They're paying people to bring in hangers. So now I've taken to bugging my neighbours to see if they have any. So far that has produced just one. At this rate I'll never get my spiders done. That means I'll just have to take a t to HD soon

I am so proud of myself . I was finally able to upload last years pics.  It only took me figuring out how to fix my scanner( thanks Mike at Canon for that , he's the best , he was only the fourth peron at canon that I talked to who helped me figure out what was wromg with the thing in the first place). Then after an hour of scanning I went to upload here at hauntspace but it wouldn't let me. Four hours later I got it all figured out and was now able to upload my pics. Now if only hauntspace had a bulk uploader my live would be complete. I wish I had  some night photo but they didn't develop right . This year lots of night pics. Also got the last spooky town piece for this year dead as a door nail morgue. Now I justhave to  start  glueing   and craveing the base so that we can set it all up  .    Happy Hauntings !

I finally almost finished my lamp post. Only we decided to not make him a lamp post but a guide instead. I just have to find a top hat at put a bow tie on him and then he'll be completely finished. I know that you can see the pvc pipe rammed up his nether parts but you really would b able to see it in the dark. I also covered the whole thing in glow-in the-dark paint . The picture dosen't show it but his eyes flicker and he grones for a good min when he starts.Today was a good shopping day. I was able to get the chicken wire and spray foam for the mud monster so i'm going to finish his tommorrow.(if it doesn't rain , which it  will with my luck). I also hit Michaels for a little bit and they still don't have all there stuff set up .  But they had a 5 ft tall dracula that pops out of a coffin. With a coupon it was only $40 . But I'm going to make a better coffin for it hopefully for this year. If not, next year .After I checked out , I saw that they had the scrapbook stuff up. ent over and checked it out and low and behold halloween wine lables, six to a pack and I got to use another coupon on those . Walked out but then rembered I need batteries for my camera went back in and used another coupon on those too. Every sunday we collect about 6 micheals ads from the paper.  Next was dollar tree where they were  emptying  shelves to put  all their halloween out. It's real Halloween is finally on it's way . Yes!!!! Happy Hauntings
