Well here I go.  About to head out for my first day of cutting corn.  We will attack armed with garden hoes, and a measureing tape.  I will know that field by every 30 inches by the time I am done.  And it's a 4.5 plus acre field.  Every year we have a different picture to cut out.  This year is really cool. it is a mad Dr. with a biohazzard symbol in the background and a reactor tower off to the side.  When we are done we will fly over in a little 4 seater and take photos.  Then we go back in and cut out the gates.  Those are areas of corn that don't need to be cut for the picture but are needed to make it an actual working maze.   Then the real fun starts.  We can then start setting up for the haunt.  In will go the sound system, 42 speakers on posts, and this year we hope for 11 scenes in addition to our 3-d area, graveyard, and story circles where the talking buckys tell the story.
