Hi! The answer to your question is yes and no. lol My daughters pirate outfit i did not make. The dress was a cheapy from walmart (well they aint that cheap lol) The pirate hat was from the dollar tree. It had been a play foam cowboy hat tht i spray painted black..hot glued it up and glued on dollar tree boa and painted the skull onto. The eyepatch also from dollar tree. My sons costume on the other hand was made pretty much. The shirt is a mans button up dress shirt that was waaaay too big for him. I cut off the collar and the button and button holes. Sewed them back together and added ribbon at the top. The sleeves had the cuffs cut off and elastic put into them. The pants were silk from the goodwill. The jacket was a womens dress (goodwill) that was too small in the arms for him. I cut it up the front...added some black material to make the arms bigger. The boots were just plain old biker boots with painted nagahyde(sp?) for the turn down thingys. The rag belt and the rag in his hair was a sheet i found also at the goodwill. The hair was from Family Dollar and i added old jewelry and beads. I couldnt find anything close to the bone looking thing that hangs from jack sparrows hair so i just floss wrapped some hair in white. The leather belt is an old one that was turned inside out for the unfinished look. He won several contests with his costume. And is wanting to wear it again this year to the casinos, (hes of legal age now lol) to win some money! lol Im sure i wont see none of it though and im the one that spends an hour gluing on his fake beard and mustache. lol

Hey, thanks for the add. Much like everyone else is saying, ya wished I'd saved my stuff. I love to have just one of those boxed costums we had as children. I will look you up on ebay. I do a lot of shopping on there.
